We’ve been so busy with chores today, and it’s not even noon yet. I finished shuffling some of our kitchen stuff around (basically swapping the contents of one base cabinet with half of the island storage — tools and stuff — so that everything under the island would be more or less kitchen-related). And once the kitchen was on its way to being organized, I wanted to put the fiddle-leaf fig I got at Ikea in its proper spot in the living room. But first I had to shampoo that section of carpet. Because some little dog is SO SNEAKY and still manages to have accidents when I’m not looking. (Not the dog pictured here, I’m sure, but, yes, definitely the dog pictured here.)
Shampooing one corner turned into ‘might as well shampoo the entire living room’, so Rob moved the furniture to one side, and I cleaned the open space. Tomorrow, we’ll swap things over, and I’ll shampoo the rest. Rob scrubbed the surfaces in the kitchen while I was working on the carpet, and now he’s outside, tackling the garage. I won’t say who, but somebody just piles stuff up out there when nobody is looking. Probably it’s that dog in the picture above.
