Cookies

How about those Danish butter cookies that come in the blue tins, eh? They’re pretty good, provided you go a few years between tins. I think my favorite packaged cookies/biscuits are all British (plain HobNobs prrrrobably being the best, but I don’t want to be too hasty in choosing) — maybe it’s because of the tea culture, but I feel like they’ve got a better selection. What’s your favorite store-bought cookie? Are there any that you’d choose over homemade?

favorite cookie, mmm, thats a hard one, if choosing home made but store bought I would say, Cad bury chocolate biscuits, I dip them in my tea , I have been enjoying your posts, my vision has worsened and this is difficult typing , spell check is a wonder but I need more practice, justifying to new stage of vision loss, just didn’t want you to think I wasn’t reading and wanted yu to know I enjoy the pet posts, never tire of them but i also love to see the house and grounds, your creations, of course your meals , you have inspired me to to stick to my vegetarianism and thats a good thing!!! I thank you for that!

I am with you on the HobNobs! I especially love the chocolate ones, but wouldn’t turn my nose up at the plain variety… and a cup of coffee! I had a package hidden away after Christmas but someone else in the house spotted it and made short work of them!

For dipping you can’t beat a handful of Social Tea biscuits–that perfect blend of bland and crunch. But if you have to fo the chocolate route, Whippets are awfully good!
