Oh, look at this photo of all the pets, from a few days ago. Have I mentioned that Birdy started playing with Nova? It’s a chasing, teasing game between the two of them. Birdy’s new track toy arrived on Thursday, and she loooves it. She already had one that just went around in a circle, and it’s one of the only two toys she plays with (the other being a laser light), so I thought she deserved an upgrade. As soon as I put it together (in the figure-eight configuration), Birdy dove right in — she especially loves when the ball goes under the little bridge.
Rob’s taking care of the cats this weekend, while I’m in Minneapolis with the dogs. I’ve been hearing about all the flu cases on the news, and it’s got me all paranoid. People get sick out in the country, of course, but it just seems like a bad idea to be in a city, with all these people and their sicky germs. Would all you city folk be offended if I just keep this hazmat suit on a bit longer?
