


1. I planted stargazer lilies earlier in the summer, and I love them. So much better than day lilies, since they stick around for longer.
2. The second (not quite ripe) tomato from the garden — right on schedule! All of my Opalkas have blossom-end rot, but these guys are fine.
3. A better view of the new garden fence. The gate looks wonkier than it is, thanks to the sloping ground.


Fwiw, I’ve never had any Opalkas withOUT blossom-end rot.
your garden looks wonderful, we have an Heirloom tomato growing in pots oon the balcony called the Mortgage Lifter (weird name) and it has blossom end rot on a couple of tomatoes, ;( , our other tomatoe is called Brandy Wine its another heirloom and is suppose to be good in container growing, I saved the seeds from last year and they are doing wonderful, your stargazers are lovely, one of my favorites, I always had them in my garden,
