There was some weather this morning. Actually, it wasn’t too bad (just a brief downpour), but the sky looked pretty ominous. Before I took this photo, I noticed a bright spot in the sky with clouds twisting around it. I half expected it to turn into a huge funnel cloud, but it didn’t (whew). The rain kept me from mowing the lawn this morning, but now it’s sunny, so I’m going to have to think of another excuse.

I wonder where the Southern Wisconsin rain is hiding…though I generally prefer sunshine to all other weather conditions, this picture is awesomely beautiful to me just now.
