After eating breakfast this morning, I went outside to start digging post holes for the new-and-improved garden fence. I managed to get half (seven) of them done before the heat got the better of me. Post-hole digging? Not as glamorous or fun as you might imagine.
The garden is growing well, though. I was worried I’d put too much manure in my soil mixture, because the plants were big but not producing anything besides leaves. But I looked extra hard today and found some tiny tomatoes, and the broccoli are starting to grow their first crowns. Now if only the holes would start digging themselves. Just add sun and water.
