Mornings No. 4

I walked around for about two hours this morning, going up to the UW-L campus to see what had changed. There are a few big (BIG!), new buildings and plans for more. I bet it’ll hardly be recognizable in a few years.

The Center for the Arts (which we referred to as the CFA) still looks exactly the same, though. I spent a lot of time in there with the various bands I played in during college. And the Cellar — the on-campus ‘restaurant’ — has some new tables, but the layout and the booths are just as I remember. I peered in through the locked doors, remembered all the calzones I ate with friends, and had some feelings.

Yay, CFA! I have feelings when I think of the Cellar, too. Good ol’ UWL.
