I’ve got an idea for a personal blogging challenge, which is to take a photo every morning, within the first couple of hours I’m awake. And then post it here that same day. For thirty days. I really wish I had more of a routine when it comes to writing here, so maybe something easy (ie, it doesn’t matter how repetitive it gets, since they’ll all be morning photos, and there’s an inherent risk of sameness) will help rebuild the habit. So sometimes words, maybe sometimes not.
I woke up at 4:45 the past two mornings, but I took this shot at 7:00am today, when I went out on the deck to drink a cup of coffee. The Hinckley House’s (huge) deck has a little problem with rotting decking boards, but we’re going to get those replaced soon-ish. Then we’ll be able to have a table and chairs out there instead of carefully tiptoeing out every now and then to enjoy the view.
