Wow, it's been a slightly crazy few days. I've been meaning to post this picture of my new work/storage area, but real life wanted all the attention. Here it is now, anyway:

The photo sort of reminds me of my craft room in London. Maybe it's the combination of cabinets from Ikea and pothos plants.
A few favorite things at the moment:
-- Seedlings (I've started broccoli, kale, an heirloom variety of tomato, yellow bush beans, and lima beans.)
-- Yoga
-- Friendly people in service industries
-- Greek yogurt
-- Rye/Sunflower seed bread
-- Sunshine, or what I can remember of it.
Starting to think about preparing the garden for future planting (in about a month's time). How are the rest of you getting on with gardening/garden planning?
[This post was getting spammed, so comments have been closed.]
I planted trays and trays of all kinds of seeds but I fear that the sudden cold snap may have rotted them. So sad. I have my fingers crossed that something will make it through.

how lovely! do you mind if I ask which Ikea cabinet it is? I'm after something like that.
as for gardens... well, let's just say I wish I had one! I'm looking forward to making do with London's beautiful parks once the sun is out and my exams are over, though.

Jane -- They're Traby bookcases. I like them because they're solid wood; I've had enough of particle board and veneer!

I've gone about 10 years since my last vegetable garden. I'm determined to have one this year. We have almost pure clay soil in the area designated for the vegetable plot. I'm not sure exactly how we'll turn it into a garden bed in the next few weeks, but by golly, I'm gonna do it. :-) Have fun with your gardening!

It looks lovely!!! I wish I had such a lovely place to work.
I was just wondering whether you know about the site www.yogatoday.com. It's a great site with a new hour length class of yoga available everyday for free. The classes stay up for seven days or so. I don't know wheter it is for you or not, but this might also be a way so save some money? It works for me, I take one class a week at a yogastudio and try to practice at home another two times with this site.

Thanks Anna! Those units are awesome. I already love the Noreebo shelving from Ikea for that exact same reason. Down with particleboard! :)

your workspace looks inspiring
and I'm so happy that you like yoga, that makes two uf us... at least :)
the more I read your blog the more I dream of having your gardening skils! Just on Saturday I planted some spring grass into my antique bowls and then realized how little clue I have about anything what grows...

Jessica -- It's a vintage desk that I found on craigslist.
