I took a walk through the park this morning (I was working from home) to take some photos. I was mainly collecting various textures -- peeling paint, bricks, etc -- for future use on book covers (you never know when you'll need these things), but I also took a few pretty pictures. You can thank the morning light and my macro lens; all I had to do was press the button.

Wonderful pictures. That's why I like the Beckton stop. Similar nature at the end of the line. Mount Beckton is far from the city and is chock full of similar little wonders, PLUS a fabulous view of London city from the top of the famous "ski mountain". A person can commune with both the micro and macro there with a slight turn of the head. Beauty is everywhere if you look closely enough. Even in Beckton, my favourite London community. Maybe some day you'll post pictures of there. :)

I won't post pictures of Beckton, because it's not that nice. It's just like every other London suburb, except with more new buildings (East London + the war = less standing history) and a big rubbish heap they call a ski mountain.

And a huge Asda.

You're just being silly.
